The
solution The project aims to show that the farming of Shore Crabs is a viable alternative, to the collection of Crab from the wild, as Aquaculture produces crabs at the correct stage of moult ready for bait, year round, providing protection to the environment and reducing the damage presently experienced. Whilst there are many environmental problems associated with bait collection, solving them through Aquaculture presents many opportunities on a European wide dimension and helps implement both National and European Legislation.
